I was super impressed by Finn Walton’s debut, and this second book in the Soldati Security series was a fantastic follow up to Assisting the Alpha! Raj and Bryn had me completely captivated from the start, and I loved the suspense and relationship development between them!
I loved being back in this universe full of magic, shifters and other supernatural creatures and I had a difficult time putting this down. The suspense was intense from the start, with shifters going missing and the taskforce trying to figure out what was going on. The investigation had Raj being undercover at the warehouse where his new neighbour Bryn worked. Bryn was instantly interested in Raj, and the flirting was really cute, but Raj wasn’t looking for a partner and it took some time for Bryn to convince him to give him a chance.
Their romance made me feel all giddy, and I loved how Bryn’s dragon was very possessive and protective of Raj. They were adorable together, and their romance had everything I could have wanted from a shifter romance! They were dedicated and devoted to each other from early on, even if it took a while longer for them to admit what they were feeling.
The suspense kept building through the story, and it got intense towards the end. It was quite addictive, and the mystery surrounding the disappearances added some extra intrigue. Things ramped up quickly once strange things started happening at the warehouse, and Bryn and Raj ended up in more trouble than they ever could have expected.
Tempting the Tiger was a highly anticipated read for me, and it had me instantly hooked! I loved Raj and Bryn together, and my heart always melts whenever a dragon shifter calls his mate ‘treasure’. I can’t wait to see more of this little found family, and whatever case they’ll catch next. If you enjoy shifters romances with suspense, I can’t recommend this series enough!
