I wasn’t sure what to expect from the ‘demon twins’, but I for sure didn’t see that truckload of pining coming!

Lane had been crushing on Trevor for more than six years, since before he knew that his mum was seeing Trevor’s dad. Trying to hide and overcome his crush, he’d been distancing himself from his family. What his plan didn’t include was for Trevor to be drafted to the same team as him and moving into his apartment. Lane was sure that he didn’t have a chance, but once Trevor admitted that he wasn’t sure he was straight, Lane was quick to offer to help him get some experience.

The experimenting quickly led to more, cuddles, spending nights in the same bed. Lane had a bit of a hangup over them being stepbrothers, even if they barely even lived together before. Trevor was the sweetest and he was great with Lane, he knew how to read him and when to push. Their relationship development was really sweet, their bickering was cute and the chemistry they had was great. Lane and Trevor weren’t nearly as subtle as they thought they were, but the guys on the team were great and supportive, and it was fun to see them figuring it out.

Thunderstruck was a sweet and fun read, with some unexpected pining! While I adored this story, I had some struggles as I kept losing track of the PoV and had to go back and forth at times. It might be a me issue, but sadly it kept me from getting into the story and fully enjoying it. I loved the humour and the found family within the team, and I’m very excited to see more of them!
