Knight was a great start to this new series, and I’m thrilled that we’re getting a spin-off from the Bro Code series!
Knight and Aiden’s story started with an anonymous hookup in a club, only for them to realise months later that Knight and Aiden’s brother Flynn are best friends. Neither Knight or Aiden had been able to get that hookup out of their minds, and they both struggled a bit with how to act around each other at first when they were first introduced. Things definitely got a little awkward, and it was fun to see them circling around each other.
The close proximity turned into forced proximity when Knight urgently needed a roommate and Aiden moved in with him. With the memories and attraction from their anonymous hookup, it didn’t take long before they gave into temptation and started hooking up. Aiden had a lot of walls up, and it was a treat to see how he slowly let Knight in and allowed him to take care of him. They were really sweet together, and it was quite obvious from early on that things weren’t purely casual between them.
I really enjoyed this one, and it was interesting to see Knight and the other guys from the Redemption Road program again. There were struggles and a bit of suspense thrown in from Knight’s past, but Knight had his found family behind him with the guys from the Redemption Road program as well as the brothers and their partners. I’m very excited to see more of them in the coming books!
