I loved Thaddeus, and this was such a heartfelt and charming story!

Since it started with a car accident and a little trespassing, I’m not sure if I would call it a meet-cute… but once Ryder got over the shock of finding a half-naked man in his shed, he couldn’t help but feel intrigued by Thaddeus. They connected pretty much instantly, and the mutual attraction quickly reached sizzling levels with some help from the forced proximity.

Most of the story happened within days, so things moved pretty quickly between Thad and Ryder, but somehow their romance still had the feeling of a slow burn. Ryder was a little stubborn, and I enjoyed seeing Thad break down his walls piece by piece. There was a bit of push and pull as both of them were dealing with past hurt, or in Thad’s case it was pretty recent hurt. It was very sweet to see them getting to know each other, and them sharing the cottage felt very natural, like they’d been doing it for years and not days.

It was an entertaining read, I loved the humour, and the banter and friendship between Ryder and Tap was fantastic. I also felt like Thad had quite a lot of character development in a short time, and started to question his own identity and who he was while staying with Ryder. He wasn’t completely honest and open with Ryder at first, which created some tension. I was frustrated with him at times, but considering his age and what he’d been through, I could forgive him for being hesitant.

The Greening of Thaddeus Grey was a heartfelt and sweet romance, and I had a lot of fun reading it! I loved Thad and Ryder together, and even if things moved very quickly between them, they felt solid from early on. Overall it was a fun, cute and tender romance, with great characters and just a pinch of angst!
