Monty was my home and safety, but Monty tasting of Laurel was danger and passion and every forbidden delight I could dream of.

I’m having a great time every time Roe Horvat takes me to Beauville, and he almost put my Kindle on fire with Laurel and his bears!

Laurel could be a little prickly, but he was also exhausted and burnt out after touring without any real break for years. Going to Beauville was his chance to relax and recover, and his plan for sure didn’t include ending up being mated to two bear shifters.

Laurel got the best of two worlds with his grumpy / sunshine bear shifters. Monty was such an easy going and open guy, while Jordy came across as a little grumpy and quiet, keeping his walls up. The tenderness between Monty and Jordy was beautiful, and I loved to see them together. It was clear that they both felt more for each other than friends with benefits, but were hesitant to talk about it, especially with Monty dreaming about finding his fated mate.

It was so sweet seeing their relationship deepen once they realised their bond with Laurel, and the chemistry between all three of them was excellent. As usual there were a lot of emotions mixed in with the steam, and I just loved how everything progressed between them.

Magnificent Mess was such a treat to read, and Roe Horvat certainly delivered on his promise of a bear shifter sandwich! It was a well written, low angst story with high steam and some deliciously filthy heat sex. I’m thoroughly enjoying this series, and I can’t wait to see who Hunter will end up with!

Yeah, the upcoming months would be total mayhem.
But as I watched them together, so peaceful and sweet, a sense of complete and absolute rightness hugged me.
The kiss they shared, the tender smile on Jordy’s face, the stroke of Monty’s hand over Jordy’s pec… I was so in love with how they were together.
