My messy sexual awakening is far from a safe place to land, but him… I don’t know. He feels like a clear head in a burning building, and I read his message three more times before I tap out a reply.
Sab and Galen’s story was incredibly sweet and full of the best kind of hurt / comfort!
I’ve been excited for Sab’s story for so long, and it was totally worth the wait! In true Garrett Leigh style, it was an emotional romance, with layered characters, great hurt / comfort and found family.
These two had a lot of sparks between them, and what started as Sab wanting to explore his bisexuality and a possible hookup, quickly turned into feelings. Sab needed someone who was gentle and careful with his heart, and Galen was very patient and understanding about him and his past. I loved their connection, and while their relationship development was a little messy, it all worked out perfectly in the end.
They were both insecure about what they were to each other, and there was a bit of miscommunication going on. There were moments where I wanted to shout at both of them, but despite the frustration, it fit well into their story. The miscommunication wasn’t dragged out, and led to some heartfelt confessions.
Christmas on Cosmic Avenue was another fantastic holiday romance from Garrett Leigh! I loved Sab and Galen together – they had me instantly captured and I didn’t want to put their story down. If you’re looking for an emotional and sweet holiday read with wonderful characters, hurt / comfort and found family – this one needs to be on your TBR!
