Cream was a quick and steamy read! I read the original short story, Night Train, and I really enjoyed this longer and fuller version.
Going into an unexpected heat while being trapped with his boss on a cross-country train was definitely not on Jamie’s bingo card… Morton had been pining for Jamie for years, and what had been mutual attraction between them quickly turned into something more once Jamie’s heat started.
I loved how Morton made sure that Jamie had options and was able to make decisions, and Jamie was great at communicating what he needed and wanted. The lactation kink was hot, and there was the usual steam that can be expected from Roe Horvat’s omegaverse stories. It was obvious that Morton cared deeply for Jamie, and there was a lot of sweetness as well as steam. It might not have been what neither of them expected, but I really liked the way the pieces finally fell into place between these two!
