Man, he was gorgeous. Out-of-this-fucking-world hot. If he was gay and I had bigger balls, he’d be turning me down right now and saying I was too young for him.

I loved Bo and Leighton’s story – it was a tension filled slow burn with a lot of heart and feelings to it!

Leighton tugged so hard on my heartstrings, he was very lost and lonely at the beginning of the story, trying to find his place in the world. He and Bo shared a connection almost instantly, even if they only met twice and texted a few times in the first six years. Bo had a soft spot for Leighton though, and once Leighton ended up at Hillcroft, they just couldn’t stay away from each other.

Bo had a lot to deal with, still grieving his brother and trying to work out how to be a single dad. He wasn’t ready to admit his attraction to Leighton at first, and it took him a while to come to terms with his feelings. Their story was the best kind of slow burn, with lots of small interactions and sexual tension, and once they acted on the attraction it was just *chef’s kiss*!

The banter, humour and found family were all fantastic, and there were some sharp and fun dialogue as well. I loved the crossovers / cameos, and the speculation about Leighton’s family ties added a bit of mystery. The action and suspense built up fast towards the end of the story, and it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger.

Unmade was a highly enjoyable and entertaining read that I couldn’t put down! I have to admit that I was kind of relieved that I waited until Remade was released so I could jump straight into the second part of Bo and Leighton’s story – I really couldn’t wait to see more of them!

“You don’t get to say no to me, Leighton,” he whispered in my ear. I gulped for air, pain and pleasure erupting inside me. “You’ve been fucking with my head for over a month. It’s my turn to have fun.”
Holy shit.
