I’m already super fond of these chaotic foster brothers and their found family!

I really enjoyed getting to know Gray and his brothers, they’d been through a lot and I liked them all being together again even if there were some mixed feelings at first. They didn’t know why Gray left them years before, and it took a little while for them to be ready to talk things through and reconnect.

Gray and Emory were opposites in some ways, but they were perfect for each other. They both carried some guilt from the past and it was heartwarming to see how supportive and caring they were once they let their walls down. Gray offered Emory a safe space to explore his attraction to men, and it didn’t take long until their arrangement led to some real feelings. I liked how things progressed between them, and their romance was very sweet and swoony.

Outcast was a great start to the Foster Bro series, and I really liked how DJ Jamison set things up here. While there were some heavier themes, it was still overall a lighthearted and charming story, with a strong dose of found family. The brothers had some great banter and I can’t wait to see more of them!
