I couldn’t resist giving this a go when I saw the author marketing it as “Pretty Woman but gay”.
Billion Dollar Sugar Baby was pretty much as advertised, a sweet and low angst client / escort romance. It was easy for me to feel for Wren, doing his best to support his found family and making sure they had what they needed. I liked the friendship and history he had with his best friend Riley, even if Riley didn’t come off as the best guy in this story.
Alex and Wren’s arrangement had a “boyfriend vibe” from the start, and the more time they spent together, the more solid it became. Alex was pretty much instantly smitten with Wren, and it was cute how Wren was completely clueless as to how he had Alex all wrapped around his finger. They were so sweet together and I really enjoyed seeing them get to know each other.
It was an entertaining and romantic read, with some steamy scenes – perfect for when you want something light-hearted and cute!
