Silas was a survivor. He was a goddamn force of nature. This man was resilient. He didn’t need an alpha to be strong for him. He deserved an alpha to be strong with him.
This truly hit all of my favourite feels! It was a bit darker than the omegaverse I usually read, but the hurt / comfort and healing was amazing and the slow burn worked so well between Silas and Bear.
I loved how protective and sweet Bear was, and the way he gave Silas the time and space to start processing what he’d been through. Silas was understandably guarded and cautious, and it was wonderful to see him slowly starting to feel safe with Bear and seeking out his scent and company.
Whiskey & Sin was a beautiful and emotional read – Silas’ past and secrets, their sexual tension, the suspense and angst all came together perfectly!
