“If only perfect people deserved love, everyone would be lonely.”
This was a wonderful read and Bean was utterly adorable!
Bean was a total sweetheart and I loved his sunshiny personality and ability to stay positive, despite his struggles and new adjustments going on. It was moving to see him trying to put his life back together while dealing with a traumatic brain injury and issues with his short term memories. He had a great support system in his found family though, and it was lovely to get to know them a little further.
And Jarek… Bean certainly hit the jackpot with him – he was so kind, patient and understanding, truly the perfect match for Bean. They both had their insecurities, and their journey together was full of vulnerability and healing. It was easy to see how deeply they both cared for each other, and that their feelings were a lot more than what they first wanted to admit.
It was overall a sweet and very touching story, and I loved how they slowly went from friends with benefits to lovers. Both of them struggled with past hurt and traumas, and the way they supported each other was heartwarming and precious.
I’m loving this collaboration and I absolutely adored seeing Bear find his silver bear! I can’t wait for more stories in this series, and I highly recommend checking this series out if you haven’t yet – the hurt / comfort, disability representations and found family are fantastic!
( I’m also curious to see if they’ll add some Daddy kink to Nash’s story – that man definitely got some strong Daddy vibes going on…)
“You make me feel loved and safe. I will never forget that.”
