Catered All the Way by Annabeth Albert

This was one of the holiday reads from last year that I really enjoyed – Zeb and Atlas’ story was super sweet & swoony! Zeb was a total sweetheart and he’d been pining for Atlas for a long time thinking it was hopeless crush, but we all know what might happen with some forced proximity (and only one bed)…

Catered All the Way was a charming and low angst story with lots of sweet moments, and I just loved the characters and the small town vibes!

How it begins…

“What do you mean Atlas isn’t coming?” I glared at my older brother, who always managed to bring out my grumpy side, especially this early on Thanksgiving.

Tropes

  • holiday
  • brother’s best friend
  • sexual discovery
  • age gap
  • small town

Last night, Zeb had truly felt like mine, a piece of myself I hadn’t known was missing, and something that belonged to me and me alone. Mine.

What to expect

  • gaming streamer x Navy SEAL
  • pining
  • some forced proximity
  • only one bed
  • grumpy / sunshine vibes
  • a touch of grief & past loss
  • super sweet & swoony

My heart hammered, and my tongue was suddenly too thick to speak. Yearning clogged my chest. I didn’t just want this future. I needed it. I wanted it for me, yes, but for Atlas most of all. He’d never really had community, a place to put down roots and call home, and I could be the person for him.
