Lost Boys by Kelly Fox

This series is perfect if you’re looking for small town romances with hurt / comfort, grief and found family.

  • 4/4 books published
  • Can be read as standalones
  • Novellas / bonus materials available

These books were all emotional, and it was easy to get invested in these characters and their little found family. Despite the grief and hurt / comfort being very present, there was still a lot of humour and friendly banter, and Kelly Fox had me both laughing and crying at times. Even with the emotional themes, it was still pretty low angst and the romances are all sweet and spicy.

I really enjoyed this series, and The Steady will always have a special place in my heart! If you enjoy stories with these trope combos, I very much recommend these books.

The Skeptic

The combination of classic truck, rolled sleeves, mischievous smiles, and tattoos was seriously going to kill me.
And that collar. That fucking collar.

  • lots of comfort
  • MC returning home
  • past abuse
  • dirty talk
  • kink

The Crush

“Only me,” I growled possessively, wondering what had overtaken me.

“Only you,” he said, his eyes searching mine.

  • friends to lovers
  • pining
  • sexual discovery
  • slow burn
  • family drama

The Punk

“You have no idea the lengths to which I would go to ensure you’re okay,” I said quietly. I’d already ripped my heart from my chest. Everything else was relatively painless.

  • forced proximity
  • banter
  • pining
  • light D / s
  • burnt out rockstar

The Steady

“I don’t think that a prerequisite for opening your heart again is ‘getting over’ the love of your life,” I reiterated. “I think everything just gets bigger and adjusts for it. You can and will love Robert as much as you always have.” This next bit was the scary part. “You don’t have to stop loving him to love me.”

  • age gap
  • love after loss
  • size difference
  • cinnamon roll MC
  • grief
