Good Pucking Luck was an excellent start to a new series, and I had so much fun while reading Rylan and Hayes story!
It was a super sweet and swoony read that was impossible to put down, and it made me smile a ton! Rylan and Hayes had great chemistry from the start, and I enjoyed their banter and flirting a lot. Their romance was definitely heavy on the opposites attract, with Hayes coming across as shy and a bit awkward, while Rylan was cocky and had confidence in spades.
Rylan was a lot more than a cocky hockey player though, he was a sweetheart and a bit of a golden retriever, always happy and supportive. I loved how sweet and encouraging he was with Hayes, who certainly needed someone like Rylan in his corner. It was great to see Hayes slowly gain some confidence, and I lived for his bossy moments!
I thought the whole “you’re my lucky charm” was really cute and I loved how ridiculous they could be at times. I also liked the friendship between Hayes and the other guys from the jilted exes’ club, they were all very likeable characters and I’m already curious about their stories.
Good Pucking Luck was a fantastic read with a great combination of humour, sweetness and steam! Rylan and Hayes were perfect for each other and I adored their relationship and dynamic. A very promising start to Riley Hart’s new series!
