Let’s take a a little look inside of Galaxies and Oceans by N.R. Walker.
This book sat way too long on my TBR, and once I started reading it I just couldn’t put it down. N.R. Walker broke my heart, then carefully put it back together bit by bit, and I found myself sobbing through the end at 3 am. The writing and hurt / comfort were absolutely gorgeous in this story, and I just loved Aubrey and Patrick!
Aubrey and Patrick both deserved all the happiness they could find, and I adored how they slowly got to know each other and connected. The slow burn was perfect for them and this whole book was just like a warm hug full of safety and comfort. I highly recommend it if you haven’t picked it up yet!
How it begins…
I stood in the middle of the cabin unable to speak. Last night had been the worst one yet, and I felt disoriented, worthless.

It was as though he was the personification of this coast, this ocean. He was browns, blues, and greys, just like the scenery behind him, with a spark of life in his eyes but a sadness too. A little worn, rugged, weathered, but beautiful all the same.
