Daddy’s Other Boy was an intense, steamy & kinky read!

I didn’t fully expect the intensity of this story, but it dealt with a complex and intense kink and relationship dynamic, and I felt like the author did a great job of portraying the exploration between Loren, Harrison and Kody. This story won’t be for everyone, and I have to admit that the humiliation and degradation was a bit outside of my comfort zone at times.

There were a lot of spice and steam in this one, and a lot of the focus was on the kink dynamic between the three of them, but there was also a plot outside of the kink and relationship. I liked the vulnerability and communication between the characters, Loren and Harrison were new to this kind of power dynamic and kink, while Kody had some more experience. It was interesting to see their thoughts and insecurities, it was clear how much Loren and Harrison loved each other and that they didn’t want their newfound kinks to ruin anything between them.

Kody was intense and things moved very fast between them initially, even if he was great at reading the situations, I just felt like they should have discussed things a bit more than they did. It would have been great to see more of them settled as an established throuple and also outside of their kink dynamic, as things between the three of them was very kink focused throughout the story.

The writing was a bit uneven and I think it would have benefited from another rounds of edits, there were some mix up with names for example, which made things extra confusing since there were three MCs. I would have liked a bit more of a solid ending as well, things ended a bit too abrupt for my liking here, especially after their worries about the future.

Daddy’s Other Boy was overall an interesting and intense read, with plenty of kink and scenes, while also having relationship development and plot. I felt like it portrayed the complexity of the kinks and power dynamics together with the characters thoughts and feelings very well.
