Let’s take a little look inside of Off Season by Jodi Oliver, the second book in the Chicago Thunder series.
I adore Jodi Oliver’s writing – and Off Season was totally swoony and charming to read! Ethan and Jacob were perfect together and it was cute to see how they had been crushing on each other, not ready to act on anything, until their little fake relationship arrangement happens.
Even if it was an overall lighthearted and low angst read, there were some emotional moments that had me tearing up. There was some beautifully written hurt / comfort in this one, and I loved the vulnerability between the Ethan and Jacob.
This is a great pick if you want a sweet and swoony off season hockey romance with all the found family that comes with meddling teammates!
How it begins…
The puck sails over Elliot’s left shoulder, into the back of the net, and the arena practically vibrates as the visiting fans cheer and applaud in celebration.
