He’s fucking crazy if he thinks I’ve bothered to remember anyone else exists since laying eyes on him.

Flash was a very entertaining and charming story – it was so much fun to see how both Lewis and Arrow desperately tried to hold back with each other but just couldn’t!

I loved how neither of Lewis and Arrow had any chill when it came to relationships, and I don’t think I’ve ever met characters that were this catastrophically bad at doing the casual thing. These two were the perfect combination of neediness, they were so sweet together and their story was full of humour and warmth.

Arrow and Lewis had instant chemistry, and a lot of it. They had a chance meeting which led to them hooking up while Lewis was waiting for a tow in the middle of a rainstorm. Having had bad experiences with past relationships and some trust issues, Lewis quickly threw away Arrow’s number and it took another chance meeting for him to agree to a repeat. Arrow had a lot of patience with Lewis though, he gave him plenty of chances and let him set the pace, even if it was clear how possessive Arrow was and that he wanted more.

I loved all the antics, and trust me, there are plenty of them in this one! The prank war between the flower shop and tattoo shop was entertaining and I’m glad that it didn’t feel like it went too far. As usual with K.M. Neuhold’s stories, there was a strong sense of found family and camaraderie, and there were a lot of interesting characters introduced here. There were some connections between the author’s other series as well, with some being more hilariously awkward than others.

Flash was a very low angst, fun and enjoyable read with plenty of steamy scenes! The push and pull between Lewis and Arrow was great and I loved to see how things slowly fell into place between them. It was a very promising start to a new series, and can’t wait for more books to come!

Is it too soon to propose? Probably. I don’t know how he expects me to play it cool when he’s being cute with my dog though. We could get Gregory his own little tuxedo and make him the ring bearer. It’ll be perfect.
