This Is My Church by Sasha Avice

Let’s take a little look inside of This Is My Church by Sasha Avice, one of the books in the Contested Possession series.

This Is My Church was a read that tugged at the corners of my comfort zone, but it was definitely worth the read – the relationship and character developments were fantastic and I loved the tension, chemistry, emotions and angst.

Thad and Lacy were opposites to the extreme, Thad being heavily religious and trying to do right by the expectations placed on him by his family and faith, while Lacy was more of a wildcard – with some unhealthy coping mechanisms. Both of them being flawed characters made for a raw and emotional story, and I highly recommend this one if you’re looking these things and a bit of an unconventional romance read!

How it begins…

“You’ve got a new friend,” Cary said.
“Huh?” Lacy lifted his head from where he was bent over tying his shoe laces and followed Cary’s gaze.
