The guy was a wall of muscle, with about a million emotional issues, tinged with bitterness, and all wrapped up in one of the most gorgeous packages I’d ever seen.
When I saw that two of my favourite authors would co-write a series I was beyond thrilled! I ended up completely devouring this book once I got it, and Creek was a fantastic grumpy / sunshine romance with a lot of tension, feels and friendly banter.
Creek and Heath were explosive together, and I very much enjoyed how they slowly figured out that attraction was the reason for all the tension between them and why they kept getting under each other’s skin. The understanding and support they had for each other once things fell into place was precious, and the hurt / comfort was exactly what I was expecting from these two authors. I truly adored how sweet these two were together.
Overall, Creek was a great start of a new series and collab! The disability representation and portrayal of both Creek and Heath was fantastic, and I loved the friendships and found family. I’m very excited to see more of all of the characters that were introduced here, and I can’t wait for their stories!
My attraction to straight men was bad enough, but apparently, it was volatile when the straight man kissed me and then showed up in his Army uniform to flirt with me.
Because he had been flirting.
That had definitely been flirting.
