Let’s take a little look inside of Creek by Nora Phoenix & E.M. Lindsey, the first book in the Honorably Discharged series.
When I saw that two of my favourite authors would co-write a series I was beyond thrilled! I ended up completely devouring this book once I got it, and Creek was a fantastic grumpy / sunshine romance with a lot of tension, feels and friendly banter.
Creek and Heath were explosive together, and I very much enjoyed how they slowly figured out that attraction was the reason for all the tension between them and why they kept getting under each other’s skin. I also loved the friendships and found family, and I’m very excited to see more of all of the characters that were introduced here!
How it begins…
On a good day, driving into the city of San Francisco was a major pain in the ass. Today was not a good day.

My attraction to straight men was bad enough, but apparently, it was volatile when the straight man kissed me and then showed up in his Army uniform to flirt with me.
Because he had been flirting.
That had definitely been flirting.
