“Tea? You are such a fussbudget,” I muttered. I actually preferred tea, but I also enjoyed goading Sawyer. Win-win.
“Maybe fussbudget should be my FetLife username,” he countered as he left the room. Fucking Sawyer. He could be funny sometimes, for a stick-in-the-mud. No way he was on a kink app. Psh.

There had been some hints and teasing about Sawyer’s pining and Hendrix being completely clueless about his friend’s feelings for him in the earlier books, and I loved how things played out between them in The Punk!

I loved how sweet and caring Sawyer could be, while also being totally bossy and stern. It was obvious how much he cared for Hendrix and I loved to see them finally find each other, thanks to a promise and a little forced proximity. Both Hendrix and Sawyer characters had a lot of layers to them, more than what had been shown in earlier books, and I loved how they slowly opened up to each other. There were a lot of tenderness and sweet moments between these two that had me swooning, and the touch of hurt / comfort was just perfection

I always like bratty characters and Hendrix could be a real brat at times, and was initially acting out, but Sawyer knew how to handle him even if he sometimes managed to push all of Sawyer’s buttons. I really enjoyed the dynamic between them and their little back and forth was fun to read. They had a lot of steamy moments and their dynamic was amazing, – Sawyer letting his Dom side take over was so hot!

The Punk was an anticipated and great addition to the Lost Boys series, and I’m a big fan of how Kelly Fox writes her small towns and found families. This series has been amazing so far and I highly recommend it!

“You have no idea the lengths to which I would go to ensure you’re okay,” I said quietly.
