Nora Phoenix is great at writing suspense, and in combination with these intriguing characters, she had me totally hooked with this story! No Secrets was a suspenseful, kinky and sweet romance, and I loved being back with Wander and his little group of men.
Roman was a little defeated when showing up at Jesse’s house, and with death threats and a price on his head, he quickly became the next case for Wander’s team. When Wander suggested that Roman use Caleb as a way to relax, Roman was hesitant at first, but with the attraction and chemistry between them it wasn’t long before he gave in. The tension and attraction between them was intense and I loved how their dynamic slowly developed.
I adored Caleb and how open he was about everything, and it was great to see how well they communicated and shared things with each other. Caleb’s submission was beautiful, and it was no wonder that Roman wanted to give Caleb whatever he needed. I also loved seeing Roman discover new parts of himself and explore them together with Caleb. They were so sweet together, and made my heart feel all happy and swoony!
I thoroughly enjoyed No Secrets; the suspense, the dynamic between Caleb and Roman, the found family… It was a fantastic read and I didn’t want to put the book down until I knew that everything would be OK. I’m really happy that Roman got his own story, as I’ve been curious about him since he first appeared in the No Shame series. I definitely recommend checking out both series, even if No Secrets could be read by itself as well.
“Roman?” Caleb’s voice was soft, but it carried the weight of all that stood between them.
“Shit.” Roman exhaled.
“Take control,” Caleb said in a whisper with the impact of a gunshot.
