This is the last winter that I’m going to spend basking in the glow of other couples’ love. It’s my turn.

I feel like this pairing has been teased for most of the series and it was definitely a highly anticipated read for me! Raven, Angel and Devil’s story was a really sweet read with lots of pining, emotions and a touch of kink.

Oh Raven, seeing how he’d been pining and keeping his distance to Angel and Devil just to keep his heart safe made my heart ache. These men had been dancing around each other for a long time, and Raven didn’t want to risk his heart for a one-night thing, thinking he wouldn’t get to have more with Angel and Devil.

I loved how patient Angel and Devil were with Raven though, letting him set the pace and it was great to see how his walls slowly came down. They had some fantastic chemistry and with the attraction between all three of them, it was hard to grasp how they’d not given in earlier – their relationship definitely felt inevitable. I was so invested in their relationship, and I adored how careful and sweet their flirting and approaches were at first.

I have to admit I was expecting more about the reason why Raven was so hesitant around the couple, it felt like there was something from his past that made him keep his walls up, but it wasn’t really brought up. I loved the layers to Raven’s character though, he was so intuitive and a lot more attentive than the other characters seemed aware of, and I enjoyed his PoV a lot.

Devil’s Own was a fantastic (for now) ending to the series, and I loved to finally get Raven’s perspective! As usual with this series it was an entertaining story full of friendships, banter and found family vibes. I’m really going to miss these men and their little community – I will keep my fingers crossed for any chance to revisit Palm Island and seeing its island magic at work again!

“We want all versions of you, Raven,” Angel says, tilting my chin up and brushing a kiss against my lips. “Always.”
Always.
