To Hold a Hidden Pearl by Fearne Hill

Let’s take a little look inside of To Hold a Hidden Pearl by Fearne Hill, the first book in the Rossingley series.

Lucien and Jay’s story was definitely heavy on the angsty and emotional side – Lucien was struggling with his grief and Jay’s life was just such a mess. I loved these two though, and the way Jay kept showing up and patiently taking care of Lucien, despite Lucien being so prickly. Seeing things slowly build between them and how sweet they could be.. so much swoon!

Overall, To Hold a Hidden Pearl was a beautiful story, with lots of hurt / comfort, sweet moments and all the feels. I hope everyone will adore Lucien and Jay as much as I did!

How it begins…

I don’t do nightclubs anymore. It’s not an age thing. Sure, I’m thirty-four, but there are plenty of men and women older than me in here seemingly having a blast. It’s…it’s just that I hoped I’d never need to, I suppose.

“Where is your heart, Lucien?” I ask, and cage him against the fridge with my arms, leaning down into him so I can feel the puff of air against my lips as he speaks.
“Wherever you are, Dr Sorrentino.”
