Nash was such a sweet and cosy conclusion to The Daddies of River Gorge series – I really adore these sweet stories that Jacki James has written within this series, and this one was no exception!

Spencer had been struggling with finding a partner due to his preferences, and had a history of pretty bad break ups and broken promises. He was such a sweet boy and it was sad how he was so used to the idea of not being enough for someone. Nash had all the patient for him though, and I loved how sweet they were together – Nash was such a gentle and caring Daddy and it was exactly what Spencer needed.

The Daddy kink was pretty mild, as it’s been in the other books as well, and the focus was more on their relationship development and on Nash gaining Spencer’s trust. Spencer definitely came off as a bit standoffish at times, and I loved seeing how Nash slowly broke down the walls and kept reassuring him. So many sweet and tender moments between these two! Even with Spencer being a bit skittish and hesitant about Nash and relationships in general, the angst was still low and it was a bit of a slow burn romance.

I loved being back in River Gorge and it was great seeing some of the other couples again. There were some glimpses of Nash’s work on the ranch with the horses which I loved – there’s just something about cowboys, especially the ones working with rescue animals… While I’m going to miss these Daddies and their sweet boys, I’m also excited for the spin-off series that’s starting with Nash’s brother Keith!
