Adrift in the Embers by Cara Dee

Let’s take a little look inside of Adrift in the Embers by Cara Dee, the seventh book in The Game series.

I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve read this book – it’s one of my ultimate comfort reads and I love seeing Corey finding his place with Greer and his men! Corey has a special place in my heart, he’s such a sweet and loveable character, and I love his bratty and goofy sides as well. This story contains a lot of my favourite tropes, along with the best found family / BDSM community, so I can’t help but keep coming back to this one!

The Game series is best enjoyed if read in order, and it really is a fantastic series. If you want to jump into this one though, I would recommend reading The Shepherd beforehand, as it focuses on Greer, Archie and Sloan.

How it begins…

“What’re you going to do first thing on Monday?”
I scratched my ear and felt my nose twitch. There was something about the smell in Denver.
