Cay lay beneath me, his dark eyes hazed with bliss and a goofy, fucked-out expression on his features. My heart thudded a little harder at the sight of him, at the sheer comfort there.
UnConVentional Kiss was a really sweet story, with a double sexual discovery and great chemistry between the characters!
I loved Cay and Beck’s first meeting at Comic Con, and how they both had a hard time forgetting about their kiss. When they met again months later, the tension and chemistry was still there and they start to hang out – and inevitably fall for each other.
It was sweet to see them slowly realise their attraction, they were so clueless at first that it was almost comical. I liked how they both became pretty obsessed with each other, but not in any over the top way, and feeling too insecure to bring it up. It was endearing to read and made sense, since it was their first time being attracted to another man.
Physically things developed pretty fast between them, and it quickly got pretty steamy with some light bondage and mild D/s vibes. Cay and Beck were really hot together, and I liked their explorations a lot. I wouldn’t have minded a bit of a slower pace for them, but it didn’t necessarily felt rushed either.
UnConVentional Kiss was overall an enjoyable story, very cute and sweet with some great steam! Cay and Beck had me smiling a lot and I loved their grumpy / sunshine vibes and their sizzling chemistry. Definitely a great start to a new series!
There was a dreaminess to his expression that was purely him, just a sweetness I’d do anything to protect… yet wanted to wreck in the best way possible.
