“Atlas, I want you.”
“I can tell,” he whispers into my mouth, and we both chuckle.
God, what this guy does to me.

The Step Bet was a hot and entertaining read – I loved the way these two kept pushing the boundaries and challenging each other!

Atlas and Troy’s dynamic was quite explosive, and I loved how their competitive personalities turned into possessiveness once they became involved! It was a lot of fun to see their relationship develop and go from annoying stepbrothers to lovers, and I really enjoyed their banter and bets.

There was a depth to the story that I didn’t quite expect – but probably should have with these two authors – and it wasn’t as lighthearted as I first thought it would be. Both Atlas and Troy had heavy pasts that both still affected them, and also brought some drama into the plot. It never got particularly angsty though, and there were some really sweet moments.

I liked seeing them drop their walls and be vulnerable with each other, and I loved their little moments of honesty and openness. It also helped to solidify their connection, as they hadn’t been close enough to share those kind of conversations before. I loved the difference in their interactions and connection from the start compared to the ending – it really showed how much they both had grown and changed through the story. So precious and sweet!

The Step Bet was a great read, and a fantastic start of a new series. There were several interesting side characters here that I’m curious about, and I’m so excited to see who’s next!

“Don’t forget you’re not allowed to wash me off. I want him to smell my cum on you so he knows who you belong to.”
