His skin was pink from the cold, and I had the ungodly urge to climb onto his lap—despite my size—and hide my face inside his neck. I had a feeling I’d be safe there. I had a feeling, wrapped in Trent Montgomery’s capable arms, my demons wouldn’t feel quite so close. I’d find my balance.

Oh my, these characters were just utterly precious! Fae Quin’s second Christmas Daddies book was such a heartwarming and adorable read, making my heart feel all happy and melty!

There was a lot of things I loved with this story; the portrayal of the characters, the beautiful and emotional development between Trent and Miles, the bond slowly forming between Trent and Bubba. The story was filled with sweet and heartfelt interactions, support and love!

It may not have seem like it at first, considering how disastrous Trent and Miles’ first date was, but Bubba (Miles’ son) turned out to be a great matchmaker! I loved how persistent he was and the way that he kept bringing Trent into their house, using various vague excuses. I honestly wasn’t sure about Trent at first, but he managed to surprise me, and I loved how patient and sweet he was with Miles.

I really felt like I could relate to Miles and his anxiety, and he was the kind of character that I just just wanted to hug and assure. He had some amazing character growth throughout the story, and I loved to see how much Trent’s support and friendship helped him. Did I mention how sweet and adorable they were together? Heart eyes all the way!

You Can Count On Me was a beautiful and moving story, full of sweetness and all the feels – and you should definitely add it to you Christmas reading list! This series has been wonderful so far and I’m very excited for the next book!

How long had I ached for something like this without knowing it?
I didn’t know.
My traitorous heart whispered, always.
