Let’s take a little look inside of Blue Skies by Marie Sinclair, the first book in the Blue Skies series.
Greg and Holden’s story was beautiful and I loved the ace rep! Holden was so sweet, accepting and patience – exactly what Greg needed, and I really enjoyed seeing them together.
Blue Skies had some pretty intense relationship development, and I liked how they were both drawn to each other without understanding why at first. They were so sweet together and I definitely had heart eyes a few times while reading!
How it begins…
“For fuck’s sake, just put on the cock ring,” Mason snarled. “Or take some Viagra. I want to be fucked.”
Tropes

- age gap
- hurt / comfort
- found family
- past hurt / trauma
“Basically, I don’t feel sexual attraction. I rarely feel aroused or turned on, even when I’m with someone I’ve gotten close to. I’m not sex repulsed,” he added. “I like sex, actually.”
What to expect

- asexual and HIV-positive MC
- a history of bad relationships
- an older, closeted flight instructor
- a little bit of forced proximity
- falling hard and fast
- swoony moments
God, Holden felt as if he needed a whole new vocabulary because the words he had, the way he thought about desire and arousal and sex, were completely inadequate for describing what it was like to be with Greg.
