Have you ever met someone and known, just known deep inside, that this person was gonna mean something to you?
Got Me Feeling was a super sweet and quick read, with some humour, close proximity and friends with benefits.
These two were great together – I liked the way Locky triggered Roman’s protective and possessive sides, even if that meant that he went as far as low-key stalking Locky at the beginning of the story. Despite never being attracted to man before, Roman easily accepted how drawn he was to Locky and just went with it.
Even if they’ve known each other for a while, it kind of felt like an insta-love story, as things moved pretty fast from roommates, to FWB, to boyfriends. Roman really put his heart on the line by accepting a FWB situation when he already had feelings for Locky, and it made it hard not to root for these two.
There was a little drama with Locky’s ex, but the plot was otherwise pretty straightforward and sadly a little predictable. I liked the characters and the found family feeling though, everyone was so supportive and kind. Both Roman and Locky had some baggage, and I loved that they felt safe enough to open up and talk with each other about their pasts.
Got Me Feeling was a fast paced and heartwarming story with little angst, and it’s a great option if you’re looking for something fun and sweet!
“Baby.” Roman sweeps the side of my face with his long fingers. “The deal was sealed the moment I laid my eyes on you.”
