And it hit me then how many times I’d done this. Rushed to an empty room before letting my feelings free. Cried over a man who’d never be mine. One who was unwittingly breaking my heart over and over again.
I buried my face in my hands, the sound rasping from my lips amplified. How many more times could I do this to myself?

Oh Lark… the things I let you do to my poor, poor heart. Green Light was an emotional friends to lovers romance, full of friendships, pining and heartbreak.

Seriously though, I couldn’t decide if I wanted to hug them or yell at them to work their stuff out. They were just so freaking oblivious! It was a bit endearing and a lot frustrating – but I think that it really worked here, and both Kai and Silas had their reasons for not communicating. I loved the history they shared, seeing where they came from and how their friendship started was both painful and precious.

And the pining… I felt so much for Kai and it hurt to see him heartbroken over and over again. Lark Taylor did an amazing job of conveying both of their feelings – she had me completely intrigued from the first chapter, and I loved seeing these two stubborn men work things out!

Green Light was a slow burn romance with a lot of misunderstandings and angst, but once Kai and Silas actually got on the same page? So much steam! And Kai had dirty talking down to a T… Loved it, and seeing them together was definitely worth all the pain in the end.

After reading this I’m more excited than ever for Arlo’s story, even if I’m sure it will hurt, a lot… He’s just the most precious character and I need to see him get his happy ending with Jack.

“I’m in love with you, Silas. I’ve loved you for so long that I don’t know how to do anything else. Loving you has been the one constant in my life. Not my family, nor our careers, or even our friendship. It’s just been you. Loving you.”
