Let’s take a little look inside of Something Unexpected by Rory Maxwell, the second book in the Split Rock Ranch series.
I loved Micah, Ryan and Nick’s story! Micah was such an adorable character and I enjoyed the playfulness he brought to the story and relationship. All three of them had some excellent chemistry, and I felt like the relationship between them developed very naturally.
There was a bit of a suspense / keeping secrets plot that added some drama, but the relationship itself was low angst. A great read if you’re looking for something fun, sweet, and steamy!
I’d say that Something Unexpected works well as a standalone, but if you want some background on Micah and Ryan, I’d recommend reading Something Undeniable first.
