Advanced Chemistry was a funny and sweet addition to the South Rock High series! I’ve really adored this series with its quirky and loveable characters, and I was very excited to see Truman write a MMM romance.
I have to admit that it took me a while to understand Anton and Chase’s characters, I just didn’t click with them at first and it caused me to struggle a bit with getting into the story. Sebastian had me from the start though, with his pining and long time crush on Anton. His PoV stood out for me, his feelings and longing was very well written and just struck a chord with me.
I loved to see Sebastian and Anton go from friends to lovers, and the way Chase just fit in with them was perfect. The relationship took a bit longer to develop, but I really enjoyed their cute (and sometimes chaotic) dates. Things got deliciously steamy between them, and who would have thought that Chase had a wild side? Loved it!
Advanced Chemistry was overall a charming and entertaining conclusion to the series. I’m definitely a fan of A.J. Truman’s writing style with these low angst, sweet and funny stories and I can’t wait to see what he’ll be writing next!
Anton and I watched him, both completely naked, shorts at our ankles, dazed looks on our faces.
“Always fun catching up with former students,” he said, before calmly exiting our apartment.
