All books take place in Pendleton and there are some run ins with former couples which I enjoyed. The loose connection makes them good as standalone, but I’d still recommend to read them in order. All books contain BDSM, mostly D / s dynamics and various kinks.

I have a lot of love for this series, I really like how Brigham portrays the characters and relationships here – there are a lot of heart and vulnerability among the characters. The mix of sweet and steamy is great, the kink doesn’t get too heavy and they’re all pretty low angst. Both the first and third book have characters that are new to kink and I loved their exploration – and Donovan and Tyler from the third book have a special place in my heart.
