This series take place in the White House, and there’s a continuous suspense / thriller plot throughout the series. Each book deals a lot with trauma and grief, and the entire series comes with a strong TW for detailed description of terrorist attacks.

I loved this series and every book was a really emotional read! It was less political than I thought it would be, since the focus is mainly on the people and the investigation into the terror attacks. The characters were all amazing and it was interesting to see all their different dynamics and friendships. This series managed to be both heartbreakingly sad and hopeful at the same time, and the plot was skilfully put together!
